Witness in the cinema

Fictional truths
New item on the program this year is DOK.fiction. The film series explores the already fluid boundary between fictional and documentary film and makes the answer to the question "What is a documentary film," even more difficult. More Wim Wenders documentary program in the retrospective are "Tokyo-Ga" and "Notebook on Clothes and Cities", in which the director shows his interest in Japanese culture.

By Wednesday the DOK.fest still offers a concentrated program of documentaries from various countries, genres and a variety of topics. During the festival period each day three festival venues for talks between film enthusiasts, visitors and directors are open.
