The German theater is filled with a new production by award-winning Broadway musical of the energy, the colors and the flair of the 60s. Be of 03 until 07/22/2012 with it! The Munich-based version of Hairspray was incidentally directed by Andreas Gergen and Christian Struppeck, who will assume the leadership of Artistic 05/01/2012 2012 Raimund Theater and Ronacher.

The musical Hairspray is an adaptation of the John Waters cult film from 1988 about rock and roll and racial barriers in American provincial Baltimore. The pivotal point is the "Corny Collins TV show," a talent show for white kids dancing to black soul rhythms. With verve and wit, heart and brain, and even more rock and roll in the plump hips and short legs, Tracy defies all common prejudices confidently. Side by side with their black friends, they conquered the hearts of Baltimore, storming the floor of the popular television dance show, where one prepares to elect the "Miss Teenage Hairspray '62" ...
