Clothes make the places

What happens when an artist and fashion designer with an industrial designer and photographer at the public art project work, we can see from 07.21.2012 to 21.10.2012 in Munich's Hofgarten.


The 2011 Munich Cultural Department of the competition advertised in the program public art brought to light the winning project REPLICA. The title of the true artist Ayzit Bostan and Gerhardt Kellermann take in their textile installation is a central element of the Piazza San Marco in Venice again. Based on the numerous relics of Italian style architecture in our city, a reinterpretation of the arcade equipped with curtains in Piazza San Marco is produced at the arcades of the Hofgarten, Munich.


Generate in constant motion light curtains on the 88 arcades is always a new constituent picture. With this game of revelation and concealment, the artists invite you to a new awareness of a baroque park and turning the busy transit point as it were in a special place that will invite you to discover and enjoy.

REPLICA opened on Friday, 07.20.2012, from 19 clock with a cultural program and a special performance: invited the French sound artist Koudlam is.
