Bon Iver in Madrid (Vistalegre, October 28, 2012)
Justin Vernon sick girlfriend ran out, got depressed and got into a cabin for three months to compose. In its history, that fascinates and strangers, was born on intimate "For Emma, Forever Ago" in 2008. Today, with the story flipped and after EP, collaboration with Kanye West and new album surrounded by a cast of musicians accompanying his falsetto voice, full stadiums, or, for that matter, old arenas. Along with the eight members of the band that accompanies him, what he did last night in Madrid.
Wearing weeks watching the poster pasted on the streets of the city: Bon Iver, Vistalegre Palace, tickets € 38. And it kept surprising that a band of folk would be able to fill (or most) of the spaces more capacity concert in Madrid on Sunday and at that price. But the night was cold and early, at seven, and was already halfway Vistalegre. Two hours later, after the girls also folkies The Staves dulcificaran the environment and Vernon expected to leave the track looked almost full. The mobile screens to portray in realtime, lists. The idols of the new century have beards and lumberjack shirt.
How long is the mass folk? Seen by the occasional reaction both within the concert and Twitter I'm not the only confused with the trend, try to enjoy in a capacity of 10,000?? people what common sense tells me it would have to be half or less than half. 'Live change, you see,' he warned. No wonder, that is the key: Vernon and company (company: two drummers, percussion, strings, choirs, wind - an orchestra) make each song an experience that goes beyond what the album offers. The topics are getting longer, the beginning or end mystify. As the show progresses, more heat and envelop the smiling and romantic (just before three couples had delivered) public.
'Perth' and 'Minnesota, WI' opening repertoire, which continues in a state of grace 'Michicant' and Vernon on the floor playing all pedals. The lighting, to rise to the occasion, is projected across the width of curtains covering the stage and is combined with a set of lights installed in front of the musicians. Then songs like 'Towers' or 'Hinnom, TX' and a show that is prepared with Woods for the height of the last issues. And come Holocene, the coreadísima 'Skinny Love' and 'Beth / Rest' to make way for the encore. After the pause, briefly, the orchestra again asking the public collaboration in 'The Wolves' (' is the first time that we are here and we have to explain it: you have to sing 'What Might Have Been Lost' with us), all ends of intensified and, among cheers and excited people, Bon Iver crowned night: thanks for coming. The experience has been served, and 38 euros, safe, made profitable.

The sense of the seduction of Bahamas
The skeptics snobs never expected anything of Brushfire Records, the label founded by singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, but eventually reality has finished punching in the face to these petty hipsters. The proof that Jack does not have a fool can find in signing Afie Jurvanen, aka Bahamas, a Canadian musician who has rubbed shoulders over the years with artists like Feist, Jason Collett (Broken Social Scene) and Zeus and now launches a powerful second album entitled "Barchords" happens to that "Pink Strat" which was released three years ago.
Very good vibes are flowing from this LP after making a few calm tracks. And is that "Barchords" is not one of those albums linear in maintaining a rhythm line from start to finish, no. This album is characterized by having a range of sound sensations ranging from those offered in more robust discs John Mayer ("Continuum"), up slightly afropop like Vampire Weekend. Afie plays both approaching the tropical feeling as the R & B of the '60s, or the more refined and classic folk reminiscent least from the distance of Paul Simon of Simon & Garfunkel. But it is in the blues of yesteryear where we find the greatest part of the disk. A bewitching blues, which show off the Bahamas gets done with his electric grapples. 'Lost In Light' is a true reflection of the comments. PA Blessed, blessed, blessed choirs presence of a very much reminiscent Afie the imposing figure of John Paul White (The Civil Wars).
This man petó this at SXSW 2012, and it appears that his career will go further in the coming months. Canada is beginning to yield to his feet, and there are more and more people who know their whereabouts. Lest you be the last to take cognizance of what is capable Afie Jurvanen, at the end of this post (just below the clip of "Caught Me Thinking ') we leave you with the streaming via Spotify this delicious" Barchords "which went on spotlight will already half a year.
Bahamas, Genio. We will have to follow very closely in the coming months. Here are crumb crumb lot.

Speaking about the LP for Rolling Stone guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro not going out on a limb. "In doing we play hard type of jamming, and had fun a lot. I think [the producer of the original Crazy Horse] David Briggs would be so proud ... Since she left I felt I had lost a bit north. We had the sound and heavy machinery, and could play anything and make it sound good, but we were not able to make great records together. I mean, "Broken Arrow" was something right. It was "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" or "Rust Never Sleeps" and "Ragged Glory".
While we wait for this release (one of the best in the last quarter of the year) here we leave you with an "American" can be heard from now through Spotify. Neil Young All that is gold touches. Go phenomenon.

That's why I developed an idea centric "escape" as a generic concept, adding a touch of fantasy that extolled the dramatic tone of such situations. We understand all styles, from soul / folk Lianne La Havas or synthesized pop to alternative rock grinding Hawk Eyes, there are no distinctions are worth. The latest jewel in the rough we've found styling is characterized by a garage pop rock with an air that's somewhat reminiscent of the first The Vaccines' What Did You Expect From The ... ". They are a very young quartet from London and call themselves Palma Violets. 'Best Of Friends' is the first single, and he discovered the great potential of this thug training.
The theme, which can be downloaded from yesterday through the iTunes Store Spanish (0.99 €), has such potential that many instruments are the fans who have left comments on YouTube directly referring to the crazy that made South London at the Reading Festival, or the teloneos that has led them to share the stage with the very the Vaccines.

And the American Rolling Stone has the 2012 newly released album "Celebration Rock" done fully, because he has this board just named one of the "Top 10 Summer Albums of All Time" - albums alongside an illustrious series of rennomierten bands like Kiss, Public Enemy, the Beatles, Run DMC, the Beach Boys, and others. Definitely good company!
But the society of Japandroids in the crane hall is nothing to sneeze at. Their colleagues from the Crocodiles play very melodic indie pop and they are for "summer album" an issue, at least judging by the title of 2008's "Summer of Hate". The band, whose sound is reminiscent sometimes pretty to Jesus & Mary Chain or My Bloody Valentine has, with "Endless Flowers" only just released their newest and perhaps finest work.
As third in the league we have not forget about the man from Taiwan, which is the project Dirty Beaches at the start. Be Style: "A minimalist rockabilly, yearning melodies and the beats of the street", it describes at least the Music Express.

And I get an address so sensual and sexy sure more than one or two listeners end up shouting that from 'Forget!!' While working, make the purchase or perform some of their chores. Another thing is the video, where Lianne walks around New York and get dazzled in every one of the planes thanks to that innate beauty that makes it one of a kind. Can you be more attractive? Frankly, I doubt it.
If you like Lianne La Havas I recommend that you may be going through some regularity on our website. Who knows if it will shortly appear some kind of interview with her in Binaural ...
