Fuck it square in the i-camp
The i-camp Munich presented at the premiere of the play 01/03/2012 "fuck it square", which is then given three more days. Director Gert and his team of nine ETA Theatre in their latest production to go into the question of whether happiness is the absence of fear alone. Virtual analog and parallel worlds of fictional American small town in Central West form the plot, which takes place in the struggle for happiness. All persons in this story are Failed. They are broken at their unattainable desires, to the difficulties of life, to the prevailing circumstances. Each of these fights subscribed to the reflection of the supposed happiness. Everyone is looking for a way out of his personal dilemma.
About the play: "fuck it square" is a study of self-importance and fear and flight. Figures of the director Gert Neuner win often but not even the semblance of fight. That in our world dominated by the electronics to escape into the virtual world is an effective way we know. The fact that the virtual world every day rubbing on the real, we are hardly aware. Even the navigation system in our cars, which leads us conveniently through our city makes us being disoriented. It works, we work.

Week we played over and over Lukas Graham videos that I discussed a couple of weeks ago. These recordings have a special magic but it is undeniable that we were beginning to get nervous as he felt monkey to hear something recorded in a studio. Nada Surf Barcelona (Sala Apolo, 19 February 2012)
The Sunday afternoon can be a sad, especially in this particularly cold winter beset by cuts and reforms. What can turn it around and turn it into a jubilant celebration of good music and oozing good vibes? A direct of Nada Surf, it is. The successful transformation took place yesterday at the Apolo in Barcelona in what was the last appointment of his Spanish tour before embarking for Europe that is causing us so much trouble lately. But how far is the Merkel, Soraya and all his henchmen depressing when Matthew Caws, Daniel Lorca and Ira Eliot ─ accompanied, just as they did last year, Doug Gillard of Guided by Voices and Martin Wenk of Calexico ─ break on stage and among guitarrazos and infectious choruses, make us feel young and invincible again.
As always, they sound more upbeat in the spotlight but, anyway, his latest album "The Stars are indifferent to astronomy" radiates already feeling very straightforward, with immediate issues and easy to be loved as "Clear eye clouded mind "or" Waiting for something ", with which it arrives. But are the strains of "Happy Kid" who tear the first hangover of my heart palpitations, with its warmth, but also somewhat bitter aftertaste that is hidden under this simple and beautiful letter: "I'm just a happy kid , stuck wih the heart of a sad punk ... "
Interspersed with the nice comments Caws and Lorca ─ the charismatic bassist of the national harvest dreadlocks ─ the new songs are combined with other singles from their previous discography. Nearly 20 years on the road go far and despite the many great songs that sound at the Apollo ─ Weightless, 80 windows (deliciously seasoned with the trump of Wenk), Hi-Speed Soul ... ─ is inevitable that others left out. Echo especially miss the great versions of Bill Fox and his penultimate Depeche Mode album "If I had a hi-fi", which has representation only in the hands of "evolution" of Mercromina.
These small absences are more than offset by the wonderful sound "See These Bones" with its delicate start takes you gently by the hand, its bridge crescendo you squeeze it with firmness and gradual glorious final fee you boot directly to run by the city dotted with night lights of the talking the song. "Always Love" brings together the voices of the audience in singing exalted one, already in the second encore, the poignant "Popular" and the always festive "Blankest year" are responsible for closing the concert in style.
A fantastic evening of unpretentious pop simplicity and honesty which is its strength. If the formula works, do not change, and Nada Surf, with magical melodies, near its staging and its ability to arouse feelings accomplices and chants to the surface, it works. Well if it works.

Class and style in 'See It For Yourself' Sugar & The Hi Lows
I write this while I start to dwell on the imminent review of the debut album Sugar & The Hi Lows, musical duo formed by the always brilliant and affable Trent Dabbs Amy Stroup. There is some magic in each and every one of the issues that make a record that is the final twist in particular "Back to the Future" the friend who has lived Dabbs. A clear example of the above? The stylish music video for 'See It For Yourself' that we can enjoy from now through YouTube.
Amy does a wonderful time on this issue but all the fans know that Dabbs was Trent who has injected an extra dose of originality to this new set. This goes way beyond that discrete EP titled "Love You Good" we enjoy the end of last year.Sugar & The Hi Lows have a dreadful class! And luckily it seems that this will not be a mere experiment time.

80th Birthday of French Truffaut
After almost a month now on a new Google Doodle have to wait, it is now time again. The search engine giant Google congratulates François Truffaut's 80th Birthday and honoring the director and actor with a small but fine Doodle. So reason enough to throw a quick look at the image and honor verbloggen some information about Truffaut.

Profile picture directed by Francois Truffaut was born on 6 TruffautFrançois Born in Paris in February 1932 and died at the age of 52 on 21 October 1984 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a brain tumor. Truffaut was in spite of his rebellious youth, a brilliant French film director and a noted film critic. He practices but also in acting and worked as a producer. But also by literary works, he could handle himself and perpetuate his constant theme of the children.
He received his works even some awards. Thus his 1959 released film "They kissed and she beat him" rewarded with the prize for the best original screenplay. Other awards include "Stolen Kisses" for Best Foreign Language Film (1969) and "The American Night" as the best original screenplay (1975).

This is strongly reminiscent of the boy who is trying desperately to see at the end of the sea and it defies any constraints and principles of society.
Thus, the Doodle is representative of how the work symbolized also, for the chaotic last days of young Frenchmen.

Rue Royale - Even in the Darkness
The American-British singer-songwriter duo (and couple) and Ruth Dekker Brookln of Rue Royale has covered around 80,000, according to own statements miles for their European concerts - the journey is the destination.
